Point your missile in my direction
Since we are in a war, shouldn't all of us collectively be giving up something to help with the effort. Folks are being blown apart over there, lots of military families are making big sacrifices with blood and guts towards this mess.
Shouldn't we as a nation cut back on something - anything? say....driving your freaking car, drinking that extra latte, hell even a little bit of kindness to your fellowman would go a long way. Just seems like there should be some effort led by someone to bring more awareness towards what a sacrifice is. What that means and how we should all contribute towards that in order to help those poor folks over there (and I mean the 'invaded' countrypeople too) and to push this thing to a more speedy resolution.
Then all this news about how they are under armored and going Mad Max and welding scrap metal onto their trucks. But the message our 'ol prez and his croonies sends out is: The best thing you can do for your country is go out and consume. Buy. Buy whatever u want. With whatever it takes. Credit card debit? sure, and super size everything. That new car, those fries, that Coke and don't forget to supersize those kids too. Joy to the World: Consume.
That's why we have boyoboy to remind us: war so isn't awesome.
