There used to be times when I didn't speak to anyone for days. It sounds weird or I guess sad....but I always enjoyed it. Those times are harder to come by now....the office, email, chat, cell phone, cooing at my dogs. Things have slowed down. Friends seem farther away....it's the little moments, the small quick breaths between the minutes that tick by each day. That nothingness. sweet silence.
