on every good ride, you see roadkill. and hopefully a vulture too. saturday i got up early for a big group ride and missed the group. they were leaving as i was arriving. well: this is sadly not unusual for me. so i got on the bike fast and headed out in the mist and fog with my map.

four and a half hours later i got back to load up and felt damn happy about the sunny ride. i got chased 3 times by dogs. one time - there were four of them. it was like viewing a movie. i had the ipod plugged in good - and saw in the corner of my eye something at my leg. yap, there's a snarling running dog - but no sound other than sigur ros droning slowly in my ears. that was great. the four dog situation was a little scarier. i just kept yelling good dogs.

lots of open road, blooming flowers, cool looking birds and waving truck drivers. a good brain clearer.
