rolling thunder

that's what i woke up to this saturday morning. i don't mind so much. it's a wonderful sound....it's dark and cold and windy out. flashes of lightening light up the room. everything is kinda yellowish and now the rain. my how things change. we were at 90 degrees yesterday. rain is forecast for the upcoming week. that's no fun at all. a morning of it - ok, all week? nah. somehow we are at 50degress this morning, 45 with magic wind chill. how's that for the first of may in texas? weird. the weather patterns here have been progressively been getting odder. we had the longest winter with so much rain and cold. it lasted through march. we like texas hot and dry. well and humid. all the other stuff, we don't know how to deal with it. enjoy your coffee or tea or hair of the dog from last nite.
