johns bro eric krause is showing his art in town and it closes tomorrow. we'll be heading over to that. i really like his work.

might hit Habana to meet some friends for a drink. then maybe we could hoof it to the movies and catch something. that hollywood lords of dogtown....could be fun. we saw the documentary, Dogtown and the Z-Boys a couple years ago. it had the real guys in it and was very well done. the music and skating and surfing footage was moving and like poetry. i highly recommend it. it's on DVD now. so, dunno how it will fare after hollywood got it. at least the guy behind the documentary, Stacy Peralta did the script....so has a chance.

here's a pic from a trip to Ojai, CA a while back. i was there for a flash training and every day on my walk back to the little hotel, i stopped by this skate park and shot. it was really fun and lovely to watch. the last nite i was there was BMX nite. i'll have to post some of those pics too.
