just ride: the mood ring for brain adjustment

the mood adjustment worked. i was antsy wednesday afternoon. the day started out good. rainy ... melancholy, slow and quiet. but later, i started feeling pent up and i dunno. what is it. all i know is if i can get out on the bike and pedal, things will be better. brain adjustment - realigned - simply better. move some endorphins to the right spot. ah. yes. like that. so, out to 360 for a jaunt across and then home back through town - little under 2hrs of riding. the weather was perect. the rain had moved on and things just seemed clean and crisp. it was cool (until you had to stop - then it was humid sweatfest) with the temps hovering in the upper 80's somewhere. downright brisk for austin in august. the ride felt effortless and even if it hadn't....it still would have been just right. back home, eat some dinner, paint the toes, play with the pups...brain adjustment complete. until tomorrow. update on knickers below. got a email from jack and he says: "The women's knicker uses a similar, but slightly different fabric. Similar by construction and composition, but a little bit lighter and not as much nap (plush) on the inside. One other great new thing is that they have excellent water resistance - much better than the men's knicker. The men's knicker will get this new fabric too with the next run. Keep an eye out for a review of the women's knicker in Dirt Rag - probably next issue." cool.
