rita frenzy in austin
have you seen the pics of that thing? it looks like it takes up all of the gulf. crazy shit. 3 weeks after katrina. so, even austin is joining in with the frenzy. we hit up HEB at hancock around 11pm to grab some things: batteries for battery powered blender. the shelves were bare of water and bread (do people like sandwiches that much?).....
my friend lives in houston, i think he' going to stick it out and be citizen journalist. i encouraged him to put the arm wadies on. hopefully....crossing fingers....it won't be too bad and folks will be ok.

Haven't you ever had a water sandwich? It's really good, especially on white bread.
actually. i think it might be more proper to gently dip your white bread into the water...only moistening and enriching the tastes of all those bleaches, chemicals and additives. a flurry of enchanting flavors as it goes down the ol pipe.
