the elusive 1970's fixie man encounter
hay look. we saw pretty cows on a prairie during the wurstride.
julie called me excited and frantic last nite. she just had an encounter with the 1970's shirtless fixie man. we have all seen him riding all over town. some of you guys prolly know him. but to several of us, he remains a mystery. and i kinda like it like that. i have seen him riding up bee caves in traffic, no shirt, dark wild hair with a headband and a mustache. he looks old skool italian to me maybe. i dunno. i just like to make up stuff.
but this time he spoke to julie at a red light. i can't remember now what she said he said. maybe, in a heavy italian accent, "my dear, buongiornio - where can i get a good cappicino?"
so no photos of him yet. no real story. just all the pretend stories we make up for him in our heads. hurrah and grazie the elusive 1970's shirtless fixed gear man. arrivederci. Ciao.

yes and yes. he has the magnum PI mustache thing going - but more handlebar than PI,. youve seen him,. huh?

yeah, haven't seen that guy in forever. used to always see his bike locked up at central market because he worked there. i called him "mustachio" in my head...
