good intown 20mile route

around 6pm i was itchin to get outside. it was warm. actually more light than it has been in several days and did i mention: it was warm? i jumped up, threw a tshirt & shorts & bag on and headed out on the milwaukee. this time i turned north. i figured i would go ride shoal creek just to spin the legs out. about 20min. into the ride i was sweatin. that felt great. warm and muggy. so after i hit shoal creek and looped around on great northern. i decided to do that again. after that, i headed south down shoal creek with a plan to stop at central market to take home some food. i was still enjoying the ride, so figured i'd ride downtown. i hit guadalupe at 34th and made a straight fast shot to downtown at 2nd street. that was really fun. came back up congress and over to lavaca, through campus and over to central market. grabbed grub and cut through the state hospital (that place is beautiful) and home. ate, showered, lingered for a moment and went to bed. perfect. was 20miles - here's a map of the route... except that i missed the pub crawl. i feel sure that whitney and nick poured a beer on the pavement in my absence. ha. i heard these will be every wednesday, so lots of opp for drinking and riding with a group of drunk cyclists. i gotta run saw II over to airport i love video before work. it wasn't as good as the first. that is if you thought the first was any good. i might be in a minority on that one.
