we sat about 10 rows back and center from the stage for sigur ros sunday nite. i dunno how many speakers they had, but my shirt vibrated. it was overpowering and wonderful. they opened loudly and with lots of abstract visuals. the sound and show was better live than anything i've heard on a recording. it was a good evening.

the band that opens for them, AminA, plays with them during their set. they are 4 women, also from iceland, and in 2 of their songs one girl played a saw. a real saw. i wanna play a saw. there would prolly be some blood involved.

i finally got some sleep last nite. i was up from 4am to 1am on sunday. and awake again around 2am last nite. i dunno. kinda vampireish thing going lately...

its 82 degrees. and time again for the 20mile intown loop.
