kinda like that
so have you ever had the ride where your spouse, partner, boyfriend, girlfriend is completely pissed off at you? the moments when u think maybe we should just turn around. but you trudge on. try to make light of it. try anything to make things how they were just oh...15min ago. you hang back to ease some of the tension. but that just makes them madder. your head is fuzzy, your heart is heavy...but its a nice nite out. its good to be on the bike - its always good to be on the bike. and you find yourself numbly smiling about simply being there...right then...and just pedaling forward... it was kinda like that.
