city riding, movies and bunnies
really, what is it with people talking in movies. not just a little....through the whole thing. the dood got up to go someplace, when he came back she gave him a play-by-play of what he missed. its annoying and all your 'well thought out' conclusions and guesses of what was happening and why, we're wrong. for once, just be quiet. watch the movie. try to figure it out in your own head. afterwards you can tell all your friends about the movie and how you had it figured out in the first 30min. i've had 2 supreme city rides on the milwaukee the past 2 nites. after work on tuesday i needed to just be on the bike. i had no intentions. other than slow and methodical. so i rode up bouldin to 5th across 290 and down to congress and back into town. it was great - bout 1 1/2 ride. i was so zoned out, i heard some folks talking behind me on congress...and i think i was like: well. i dont think they are in a car. maybe they are on bikes. i finally turned around and it was shae. we used to race together and now she is back kicking ass in mtbike & road races. was good to see her and i felt like a goon. then i saw nick #2 at the coffee shop and waved out. last nite we rode the same route to westgate to see the movie. then i did something that i prolly shouldn't admit in public. but i went straight to bed....without a shower. the horror. i was broke. too tired to care. it's kinda like camping. me and the pie did some practice bunny shots. he likes to pose.
