simply pedalin home from polvos intoxicated
so yes. i did see nick - as i wanted to dub it "find nick day". i took a picture - but it was in the shadows. his bike is beautiful. in person and in the pictures. happy man. he will be out and about thursday eve on it. so catch him at maybe the bike-in movie.
me and chrissy did it up right. i rode up to stacy pool to meet her - then we swam - then we hit polvos. so when u are swimming and splitting the lane. there's all kinds of rules i wasn't aware of. a lady told me if she taps me on the feet that means she wants to pass. i figure: go for it. but later chrissy said - you're supposed to stop and like tread water i guess and let them pass. also: ive never had as many head-on collisions or reasons for needing to wear a helmet as i did then. testosterone boy that shared our lane consistently almost headbutted me the entire time we swam.
anyway - then we hit polvos. and it was PACKEDD> what up? i dunno. is it still cinco de mayo? i really dont know - but we got a table inside and proceeded to drink....and drink. and then drink somemore.
whitney: be happy. i told chrissy about the exquisite taco for 3.50 and she got it (i stuck w/ nachos - im in a rut) and she loved it. your right. tons of taco for little $. a winner. next time i get that.
we saw flickr foto star katherine there. she takes the best fotos. her work will be at the yellow bike anniversary party may 27, along with mine, g's, kenneths, and hopefully daniels trashcans. oh and ATTIC TED. i luve attic ted. (also nicks bday - get him something red).
