89degrees at 3pm in the summer
hello austin. i took this a couple days ago when the storms were coming up each day. i love the view from the ped bridge. to the east is the city and bridges and to the west you see the hills and sunset. its always a nice spot. plus the fact that most of our rides/races start from there. it has a good feeling. so i say its drastically different feeling outside. g says its all in my head. but im not sweating as much and there's a, dare i say, coolish breeze? anyway - i can tell a difference the past 2 days and i'll take it. in fact, since i'm imagining that its cooler outside, i'll ride to south first and old san antonio. it just seems the thing to do. we were riding in the VERY muggy 4pm 100degree temps on sunday to the arbor to watch 'an inconvenient truth'. and g had an inconvenient flat. we were at jollyville and 360 abouts. had just turned off mesa. so not far...but we had 10min to get there before the show started. wasn't gonna happen. im anxious to see it. anybody do the urban assault race on sunday? cuz that was me at the finish line waving you in with my little orange utility flags i pulled out of the ground. DIY-style. hope you had a fun time.
