riding to buda on a sunday morning
in honor of fathers days i rode to buda. my pops likes the hunting/outdoors mecca cabelas and i have been wanting to ride out that way for a while. its bout 42miles round trip from the house. the weather was perfect sunday morning. and the riding couldn't be finer. little traffic, little wind and lots o sunshine.
which in contrast to my ride friday afternoon on the same route (minus old san antonio road), lots of traffic, lots o wind, and well ya lots o sunshine. during my ride back a truck that had just previously passed me on a very calm neighborhood street had pulled across the street to pick up his mail. then without looking, pulled back across the street and directly into me as he lunged into his driveway, skidding to a stop once he identified a foreign object in front of his grill. this trick maneuver pushed me up almost to his front door. jesus dood. then he starts smiling and shrugging and saying sorry from behind the steering wheel. ya he was sorry when i pulled his ass out of the truck and...ah ok...i didn't do that. but granted he didn't get out of his truck or roll the window down as i rode out of his drive. scared huh.
but nevertheless. that was a good ride too.
heres some more fotos from the buda ride.
so crazy. i almost got lassoed on old san antonio road. texas cowboys...
the fine road.
stopped in for some 12guage shotgun shells. going fishing. bubba-style.
