down there were always blankets and blankets of picnicers

and various stages at various points on the mall

on bike I got to wander the area

usually spending most of my time at the area with the punk bands

rock against racism
and there was a parade of people from the SMOKE IN that ended up there as well

it was madness

in this modern age
it would be more madness
as their are more punk kids then ever

now I have kids of my own...
so
my goals are alittle different

not sure if I will get to see any fireworks

maybe I can see them from my roof
but
I am pretty low in a valley
