2am annual moonlite cruze
so i was glad we didn't bring the ped bridge down. when i got there - the bridge was packed...and bobbing. it was moving to the beat of the music and dancers. i've felt that bridge sway or bobble before, but not like this. thats groovin. i dunno how many were there. 200. 300. more? but we did take off around 2:15ish am. and hit downtown. en masse. that's the best part. chaotic and loud and taking over the streets. most people cheer, yell, clap, stare. there was one tall bike, lots of cargo bikes, some tandems, lots of 24's, fixed, ss, touring and then the list goes on and on. we made our way around with 2 regroup spots, finished it off on top of the guadalupe parking garage that has the prettiest view of the capital. finally the ride home at 5:30am. always good. here's some shots i got. i'll be happy to link to any others - please just give me a holler.
