well this sounds silly enough for a friday afternoon...
Zombies will gather at the south end of the Congress Bridge, and march down Congress Avenue to the city Hall. There they will be met by pirates who will counter protest.

My Zombie Bretheren!
Too long have we stood silent, save the occasional groan! We have
lived under the oppression of the living masses for untold millenia! Now is our time! The time of the dead! Or perhaps the UNDEAD?
On September the 22nd (long acknowledged by our Zombie Prophets as the day of reckoning), we will gather at the Southern End of the Congress Avenue Bridge at 6 PM, and lurch our magnificent way to the City Hall.
There, we will feast upon the living, as Zombie speakers give
inspiring speeches delivered via megaphone. Please make appropriate zombie signs and prepare zombie chants.
For those of you who insist upon demeaning our zombie-liciousness
(Evil Pirates), there will be a designated protest area for you. At
some point, I am sure the zombies and pirates will come to blows, so I
call upon the city of Austin to have riot police in place to prevent
this epic clash of civilizations.
