riding in rain and goretex

it has poured all day. refreshing. and i get to pull out the goretex jacket and pants my pops bought me. i could easily jump from the bike into a lake and hunt duck, if i needed to. all the while staying warm and dry. a big ups to the chrome messenger bag which also kept my laptop dry while in transit. is this thing bulletproof? i feel ready for anything.
