wonder if we will see this little chaser again. ferocious. if you have nothing to do tomorrow, come out and ride to new braunfels for the wrust ride. all you gotta do is ride 62mile, drop off your bike to the kind people to wrap and load up on a moving truck, change and let the umm papa begin. for you pillaging viking ancestors there is a ton of meat to gorge on. i'll be heading towards the potatoe pancake and applesauce booth. get my beer tickets and enjoy watching the older folks dance to german polkas. later, we'll board a school bus, with beer pitcher in hand, for the ride home. wurstriding at its best.

note to self from last nites run: sweaty earbuds are groddy.

dan mottola wrote a fine article in the current austin chronicle called "riding at risk". well supported data and it didn't fall into more helmet debate. although i know that's an important issue to fight as time goes on...this article focused on bike and driver responsibility - and penalties for drivers that hit cyclists. and a more accepting car culture towards cyclists (yes im dreaming here). and more more more bikes on the road.

we covertly set the possum free again. i need to put a sign on the neighbors trap that says: NO POSSUMS ALLOWED - then maybe he wont keep going in.
