relax. its all been done before
am i the only one that wants a colossal squid as a pet? fishermen caught this one yesterday in Antarctica. they are supposed to be extremely fierce and uh huge. this one caught in 2003 is smaller than the one captured yesterday. somehow they got caught up in fishing lines or something. we need a campaign to save the colossal squids from fisherman - like they have for the dolphins. i want to learn how to knit a squid. i'm glad they are in the oceans. maybe next time they will take the ship down moby dick style.
so are you overwhelmed at times with life. with stuff. needing to chill out? you will enjoy the superoptimist.
the article about living out of your car is really good. along with: The Wonderful Conclusion That Everything's Already Been Done and Memory loss = childlike wonder and innocence.
uh...who are you and what was i saying?

A squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag is fast and bulbous. Got me?
I want a mini squid for my handlebars !
the superoptimist piece on the car was very, very good.
and i want to thank you for introducing me, as strange as this may be to believe, to sonic youth. it may be that their music has varied so much from album to album but while i had no doubt heard them from time to time over the years i was completely unprepared for what i heard in the pie video. so when i was at my favorite music hangout the other day i looked them up and grabbed a couple cds; a thousand leaves and dirty. it's great and i dig discovering a band with a deep history.
cheers
riding today made me a superoptimist.
I want a squid, x
