can i put a caterpillar in my pocket?

ive been throwing up my hands at drivers a bit more frequently this week. i would like to make a tshirt that says: "scoot the fuck over cupcake." everyone likes to be called cupcake right? maybe its because i'm wide loadin it with my soma handlebars. the plan has all along been to send my bike up to NYC to my friend ezra - plug for his lovely fenders and the site i am building him. he is going to cut them down, replace some parts and paint it. he's essentially pimpin my ride. will be fun. so in the meantime, the game is to pass as close as possible to hone their driving skills -- or lack of.

this has been a good week. nice weather. lots of dog bike riding. i finished my first knitting/purl project. i made a heart dishrag for my mom and found a skull and crossbones pattern i'm going to make also. rode up to visit my 4th grade mentee and it made both of our days. she still is not coming to school regularly - but she seems happy and wants to come to school.

cnn.com put me on their tshirt payroll. a long time ago i sent in a silly drawing i did when the crocodile hunter died. they were asking people to send in whatever photos, etc. so i thought what the hell. then 6+ mo later i get this tshirt in the mail. i expect to be sent on location soon for the next big story.

on the yuck side this week: tula broke out with a flea infestation outta nowhere. i haven't medicated them for over 2 years for fleas cuz we've never had a problem. fun to deal with that and our washer broke. both on the same day. if you see me outside slapping wet clothing against a rock....that's why.

BIKE MONTH is MAY - this calls for lots of margaritas and riding i think. here's a running list of bike stuff going on for it. i figure they'll be some late nite cruises and maybe a race added too.
