there is something on the porch
i came outside to sit on the porch for a bit late sunday evening. first i heard the frogs from the creek croaking loud and long. then a owl started up hoo-hooing. i heard a bike whiz by, then someone hawked a huge loogey (euew). now there is some kind of baby animal cry. i can't tell where its coming from. the shed? the side of the porch? underneath the porch? every now and then something sounds like it is throwing itself up against the wall. or like doing cartwheels inside this cabinet on the porch. then i hear little feet patter. fuck -- its creeping me out. i want to check it out but what if it jumps on my face and sucks all the blood out of me. or gets caught in my hair. or forces me to some space capsule parked in the backyard....(which i'm trying to ignore because maybe it just will go away)...
its dark out here. and quiet except now for only the chirping/crying animal alien mutant thing on my porch. probably waiting for its opportunity to take me down and steal my computer and identity. i'll wake up in some foreign country making dung walls for a living.
what - i'm pretty sure i read about that on the internet. its late. i gotta go to bed. my pink eye shadow is wearing off. i'm about to turn into a pumpkin. or a snack for the porch alien.

Probably a gnome.
brilliant post! creepy, fecund, nature emerges in spring.
i agree with chris. probably a gnome. i think we had them in the coal scuttle in germany.
peace out, yo!
a gnome with filed down razor sharp teeth and knuckle tattoos. which actually would make me like him.
thanks friends for visiting. you guys are kind to push through the cobwebs that lately have been appearing here. i appreciate it.
