i just paid someone to stick a needle in my knee. the needle itself didn't hurt. but whatever is being pushed into it did. i immediately felt dizzy, nauseous, like i was gonna pass out. maybe i should have had more than 2 cups of coffee before i went in. i dunno.

he leaves with a, 'you gonna be ok?' and i am trying not to pass out. then i try to stand up. thats funny. my knee is numb and hurts. anyway...they said alot of words regarding the MRI. nothing conclusive. that's when they stuck me. and said see u in a month.

on my way out, i asked how long it was gonna feel numb. she said a couple more hours - and it will hurt like hell tomorrow.

i can't wait.

I don't know who your knee doctor is, but you could check out Dr Spears up at Sports Performance Intl. They know all about cycling related issues and they are all athletes so you'd be in good hands. I hope it feels better!

I'm having knee pain cycling. Several months of physical therapy didn't do anything, an MRI was pretty inconclusive, so I got a cortisone shot in my knee too. That was two months ago, it's never been so bad. Before I could at least bend the knee... better luck to you!

whats the word on your knee? Did the giant syringe with skull and bones take care of the troubles?

I just got diagnosed with burisits or however you spell it. I have it in my shoulder, and I'm starting to get the shots.
