extraction
i will be posting a couple wisdom teeths on craigslist friday afternoon. never used. don't say i didn't give you a heads up.
what is this stuff i keep hearing about dry socket shit. c'mon. stop it. don't say socket. i have a 1/2 bottle full of vicodin. greg is stocking up on movies and mushy foods. i'm thinking lots of green smoothies. we'll gather the dogs and sack out on the bed and see how many movies we can watch in 3 days. and how much drug induced knitting i can get done.
this photo is from my office window last week. we have had sunshine for 3 straight days now. it's supposed to storm this afternoon.
if only i had've had my camera when i saw my neighbor don riding his bike to ozone bikes with another bike slung over his shoulder. that was a good trick. and then on the way to work last week when the old lady with a handicapped tag on her rearview mirror flipped me off and mouthed: 'fuck you'. well gosh.
i had raised my arm to let her know i was there and about to pass in front of her as she was stopped at an intersection. she was inching forward, so i figured she didn't see me riding down the street. boy you should have seen her eyes bug out as she flipped me off. she didn't remind me of my grandma at all.
this bike is going to be arriving at my house on wed. just in time for a nice slow recovery ride. the pink surly 1x1 has been retrofitted to a "ladies in no big hurry" bicycle. complete rehaul by my pal ezra of fast boy fenders. photo by ezra too. rah!

Good luck with the extraction. I had it done back in High School. I remember dull pain for the first day, but it seemed to be better after that. Just took some vicodin and slept it off! I was sporting the chipmunk cheeks for a couple days though.
I got passed aggressively by a car with a handicapped license plate just today. The kind of pass when you hear the engine whining and you can imagine the accelerator mashed into the floor boards. Like you are really putting them out by riding your bike on public roads. This may have gone unnoticed, but I experience this a lot with the handicapped labeled cars...
Hee... actually I made a movie of that trip and tossed it up on YouTube (sorry for the grainy-ness...I'm not very good at this yet!) ... it's over here.
He's now riding his shiny new Surly CrossXCheck... and your 1x1 is giving me ideas...hmmmmm...!
the extractions will be a piece of cake for you. i've had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and only one of them hurt. an army dentist in texas botched that one back in '75. i'll tell you all about it after you've healed up! :)
the pink surly looks great!
peace out, yo!
