happy labor day.

i got to put my feet up for a bit today. just now started storming in austin. its been cool here. like fall. but i know not to be fooled by this. it will warm up again -- hell sometimes fall doesn't really start till after october. there have been many halloweens where's i've been sweatin riding around collecting candy.

we passed this man on our way to see superbad a couple weekends ago.

his bike sticker says: live free or die. and i liked superbad.

i need to find my phone charger. just sayin that to myself out loud so that maybe i'll remember it.

did i mention i'm knitting a gun? i should have it done by the next time i finally get around to posting. ha. ok no, i'm almost done. its pretty exciting. i can't wait to carry it around and say like i'm out drinking with some friends or something, then like say, someone starts getting a bit too unruly or offensive or like i need to back up someone.....i will be able to just quietly pull my knitted gun from my bag and softly lay it in the middle of the table. no words. no eye contact. i think the knitted gun alone will speak for itself. it is a silent way of saying: LA LEY DEL MAGNUM ASSHOLE. a lady of few words. in a apron.
