GIRO D'GHETTO -- AUGUST ALLEYCAT STAGE RACE

MONDAY - CRIT: from MEGAN

hi. it's me for now. i'll post up any wrap up Brian has when he sends out the email.

the crit went really well. first Brian 'capped' Benedict the yellow cap - and then we all rode over to the start line for the crit. it was in a neighborhood - and the cops weren't called at any point. what a bonus. all groups got their races in without incident and everyone cheered in whispers. lots of fun - we rode back to the old BSS -- drank some beers. Benedict holds on to the yellow cap - but looks like Gordo is close behind. Nic was awarded the Pirate flag - which is in honor of the lanterne rouge....but we all agreed it's a super cool pirate flag and Nic says he's gonna defend his last place in order to hold onto it. :-)
