GIRO D'GHETTO -- AUGUST ALLEYCAT STAGE RACE

TUESDAY - CLIMBING: from MEGAN

OK...

sorry i didn't take more photos. it's been alot of good racing. i pretty sure i'm tired now.. there was a good turnout tonite. the gathering at BSS was very mellow - and once all was in place, we rode together to the start line. once there. and we had our little maps. AND GO.

the route was real nice. exposition at lake austin blvd. > balcones > hancock > shoal creek > 35th > guadalupe > 12th. up the parking garage and done. it was quick and folks got pulled over - poo. the lead group of 3 (whitney, seth, benedict) were pulled over by the cops for running a lite or something. that kinda sucked. some folks got off the course - but we all managed to get to the parking garage and finish. from there - it was dog & duck for some beers.

what a great time. thanks again to brian. i will update the overall results tomorrow with the standings as of tonite. cool. fotos are up.

out.

morning: overall results are up.

HERE'S FROM BRIAN

So another night of amazing racing peppered with an interesting side of cops. Bastids. But like our friends @ T1 say, you get what you get. This has put a serious twist on the standings though. The yellow and green caps both move, Whitney gets to hold the sprinter cap until someone shows me something at the finish tomorrow night. Other than that, seems like good times were had by all.

So Ron (I think it was Ron...) had the idea of maybe getting together and just having a hang out night tonight. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I think I would be into it for a bit. Anyone have a projector and computer they could shoot Red Light Go and/or Pedal up on a wall with? That would be pretty sweet.

Too sleepy to ramble - hope everyone's feeling well. I'll see you all tomorrow night.

**Brian forgot the most important standing: Nic's strategy works tonite and he holds onto the pirate flag. :-)
