so benedict stays in the yellow cap after the crit on monday nite. he just happened to be riding by sunday nite when he spotted us hanging out at the old BSS - and says, "hay are ya'll going on a ride?" - then joins in the race and ends up taking the mt. bonnell mountain stage with the fastest time. ha.

the turnout has been good - the vibe has been good. fun has been had and beer has been dranken. i've been so tired this whole week and it's only tuesday. for some reason, i can't sleep. after the races, i come home and try to get the fotos up from the nite and results if brian has them ready. so, in bed around 1am or later, then i lay there staring at the ceiling. WTF. or i wake up several times and freak out thinking: i've got to get some sleep. i've got to get some sleep.

so, the girl turnout has been slim. but we're still having fun. rita took the mt. bonnell stage and i took the crit stage. we had a sprint finish between me and chris. the A group raced. then the B group and Grrl group. whitney took the A group win, also with a blazing sprint finish.

tonite, tuesday, is a long nite. 1.5-2hr race with climbs.
